N-Link Hardware

How to install the KDMLink N-Link interface in your vehicle.

The N-Link is the hardware interface that connects KDMLink to your vehicle for logging. Choose the install method that matches your vehicle:

Check Compatible Vehicles before choosing an install method. Once the N-Link is installed and powered, head over to App Install & Setup to pair it with your phone.

What's in the box

  • N-Link module
  • CAN bus harness (for plug-and-play installs) or wire-tap harness (for wire-tap installs)
  • Power harness with inline fuse
  • KDMLink sticker

Before you start

Park the vehicle safely, turn it off, and confirm that your phone and vehicle are compatible. For wire-tap installs, verify the exact wire locations for your vehicle before making any connections. Required tools:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Pliers or fuse puller (for power harness fuse)
  • Zip ties or double-sided tape to secure the N-Link and harnesses

Troubleshooting

  • No power — confirm the connector or wire-tap power connection is fully seated.
  • N-Link does not appear in the app — confirm the N-Link is powered, then continue to App Install & Setup.
  • Vehicle data not appearing in the app — confirm the N-Link is properly connected to the

Once the N-Link is installed and powered, continue to App Install & Setup to pair it with the KDMLink app.
