N-Link Hardware Install
The N-Link is the hardware interface that connects KDMLink to your vehicle for logging. Choose the install method that matches your vehicle:
Method 1
Connect the N-Link with CAN bus harness
Method 2
Connect the N-Link by tapping into the CAN wiring.
Check Compatible Vehicles before choosing an install method. Once the N-Link is installed and powered, head over to App Install & Setup to pair it with your phone.
What's in the box
- N-Link module
- CAN bus harness (for plug-and-play installs) or wire-tap harness (for wire-tap installs)
- Power harness with inline fuse
- KDMLink sticker
Before you start
Park the vehicle safely, turn it off, and confirm that your phone and vehicle are compatible. For wire-tap installs, verify the exact wire locations for your vehicle before making any connections. Required tools:
- Phillips screwdriver
- Pliers or fuse puller (for power harness fuse)
- Zip ties or double-sided tape to secure the N-Link and harnesses

Troubleshooting
- No power — confirm the connector or wire-tap power connection is fully seated.
- N-Link does not appear in the app — confirm the N-Link is powered, then continue to App Install & Setup.
- Vehicle data not appearing in the app — confirm the N-Link is properly connected to the
Once the N-Link is installed and powered, continue to App Install & Setup to pair it with the KDMLink app.
