Overview

An overview of the KDMLink app and its main features.

The App

Once installed and connected, KDMLink gives you a single place to monitor live data, record logs, and connect those sessions with RaceChrono. The app has four tabs — Home, Live, Sessions, and Settings — this page is a high-level overview of each; deeper features get their own page over time.

Main features

Home

The Home tab is a customizable dashboard of live widget cards — tire pressure, coolant/oil/ ambient temperature, fuel level, battery voltage, boost pressure, horsepower/torque, and octane learning status — each sourced from your vehicle's CAN bus. Add, remove, and reorder widgets, and tap any card for a detail view with recent history. See Home Dashboard for the full widget list and how to customize it.

Live

The Live tab is a real-time race dashboard with portrait and full-screen landscape layouts: gear, a segmented shift light bar, drive mode, and other live signals update continuously while the N-Link is streaming data. See Live Race Dashboard for the full field-by-field breakdown of both layouts.

Sessions (data logging)

Start and stop recordings from the Sessions tab to log a drive for later review. Past sessions show peak values and personal records, and can be shared as text or a card image. See Sessions for how recording, personal records, and sharing work.

RaceChrono integration

Enable RaceChrono in Settings to stream KDMLink's CAN-derived vehicle data into your RaceChrono sessions for lap analysis. See RaceChrono Integration for setup steps.
